Advice if you want to get your first job as dev

Infinite doubts about it, but here is what I'd do

  • Find which company you'd like to work to
  • Discover which tech they use
  • Start doing learn in public to publish posts about your learning and difficulties in the journey with that tech
  • Build open source projects using those techs that solve real problems
Does your neighborhood need a site to find lost dogs? think how to build, build it!
Do you have a problem to find categorizing your college notes? think how to build, build it!
Put all projects on your GitHub profile with a README describing your architecture choices and create a blog post about it.
  • Start using x/twitter to tag people requesting feedback about your project
Don't be ashamed, people love to criticize others, just be humble and ask what they would do differently.
  • Drive your career toward what you want to reach
Do you want a foreign job? build all the things in English.
